Preston North End hosted Norwich City at Deepdale for an exciting Championship encounter that ended with a win for the visitors.

The home side started strongly and took the lead in the 6th minute through a penalty converted by S. Greenwood. Twelve minutes later, D. Holmes extended the lead with a quality goal, assisted by Greenwood. However, Norwich responded before halftime and pulled one back through a goal by B. Sainz in the 45th minute.

In the second half, Norwich dominated the game and managed to turn the score around. S. Duffy scored the equaliser in the 61st minute, following an assist from J. Sargent. Norwich kept pushing and finally achieved victory with a third goal.
