Dundalk and Derry City Draw in Exciting Match
Dundalk and Derry City drew 1-1 in a thrilling match at The Ryan McBride Brandywell Stadium in Londonderry on Friday.
Dundalk started the match the stronger, and they took the lead in the 21st minute when J. Mountney headed home a cross from D. Horgan.
However, Derry City fought back in the second half and levelled the score in the 64th minute when D. Mullen headed home a cross from J. Davenport.
The match was very closely contested, with both teams having chances to win. Dundalk had more possession of the ball in the first half, but Derry City were more effective in the second.
