Jeonbuk Motors Rout Port FC in AFC Cup Clash
Jeonbuk Motors cruised to a convincing 4-0 victory over Port FC in the Round of 16 of the AFC Cup, played at the BG Stadium in Pathum Thani on February 13th, 2025. The match, officiated by Al-Marri, Abdulla Ali from Qatar, saw the South Korean side dominate possession and create numerous scoring opportunities.
Park Jin-Seob opened the scoring in the 19th minute, assisted by Lee Seung-Woo, and just five minutes later, A. Compagno doubled the lead with an assist from Park Jin-Seob. Song Min-Kyu added a third in the 49th minute, assisted by Lee Yeong-Jae, and Compagno completed the rout with his second goal of the match in the 60th minute, assisted by Kim Tae-Hwan.
Port FC, despite making several substitutions, were unable to counter Jeonbuk Motors’ dominance. The Thai team received three yellow cards and created few scoring chances, managing only one shot on target from five attempts. In contrast, Jeonbuk Motors were more clinical, with 6 of their 15 shots finding the target. The game also saw a total of five yellow cards, two for Jeonbuk and three for Port FC. Jeonbuk held a slight edge in possession, controlling 55% of the ball compared to Port FC’s 45%.
