Pisa Thrashes Juve Stabia in a Match Marked by Expulsions and Goal-Scoring Chances
Pisa convincingly defeated Juve Stabia 4-0 at the Arena Garibaldi – Stadio Romeo Anconetani in a Serie B matchday 27 clash. The game was dominated by Pisa’s superior possession (61% to 39%) and shot accuracy (12 shots to 5), as well as a red card for Juve Stabia and multiple yellow cards.
Juve Stabia suffered a setback in the 36th minute with L. Candellone’s red card. From there, Pisa controlled the game, although D. Quaranta received a yellow card in the 42nd minute. The scoring opened in the 57th minute with an own goal by M. Marin. Pisa extended their lead with a penalty converted by M. Tramoni in the 64th minute and a goal by O. Morutan in the 66th. The final goal came from S. Moreo in the 77th minute, assisted by G. Piccinini. Juve Stabia received two further yellow cards, while Pisa received two more in the closing stages. Despite the heavy defeat, Juve Stabia managed to create a few goal-scoring opportunities.
