Draw in Ploieşti: Petrolul and Hermannstadt Share Points
Ploieşti, August 16, 2025 – In a hard-fought match at Stadionul Ilie Oană, Petrolul Ploieşti and AFC Hermannstadt drew in a game corresponding to the sixth round of the Romanian Liga I. The match, refereed by Marian Barbu, saw Petrolul take the lead thanks to a penalty goal by G. Grozav in the 51st minute. However, Hermannstadt did not give up and S. Bus equalized in the 82nd minute, assisted by S. Balaure.
The match was characterized by a slightly favorable possession for AFC Hermannstadt, who controlled 55% of the ball, while Petrolul Ploieşti maintained 45%.
