PSG Edges Arsenal in Thrilling Champions League Encounter
Paris Saint-Germain defeated Arsenal 3-1 in a pulsating Champions League semi-final clash at the Parc des Princes in Paris on May 7th, 2025. The match, officiated by Germany’s Felix Zwayer, was a feisty affair marked by numerous cards.
PSG took the lead through Fabian Ruiz’s goal in the 27th minute. Arsenal struggled to contain the Parisian onslaught, with Vitinha missing a penalty in the 69th minute. However, PSG pressed on, and Hakimi extended their lead in the 72nd minute thanks to an assist from Dembele. Saka pulled one back for Arsenal in the 76th minute, but it proved too little, too late.
