PAOK Edges Out Olympiakos in Tense Thessaloniki Encounter
PAOK secured a victory over Olympiakos in a thrilling match at the Stadio Toumbas in Thessaloniki on Saturday, April 6th, 2025. The game, part of the second round of the Greek Super League 1 championship round, ended with a 2-1 scoreline in favor of the home team.
PAOK took an early lead through goals from Konstantelias (5th minute) and Camara (11th minute). Although Olympiakos enjoyed more possession (60%), their lack of accuracy in front of goal (0 shots on target) prevented them from equalizing. An own goal by Michailidis in the 52nd minute narrowed the gap for Olympiakos. However, PAOK managed to hold on to their lead despite Camara’s red card in the 74th minute.
