Panathinaikos Triumphs 2-0 Over Panetolikos at the Olympic Stadium
Athens, March 1st, 2025 – Panathinaikos secured a comfortable 2-0 victory over Panetolikos at the Olympiako Stadio Spyros Louis on Friday, in a Super League 1 matchday 25 clash. The game, officiated by Christos Vergetis, saw Panathinaikos dominate possession (53%) and create significantly more scoring opportunities (18 shots, 7 on target).
Kacper Swiderski broke the deadlock for Panathinaikos in the 34th minute, assisted by Azzedine Ounahi. Ounahi himself added a second goal in the 79th minute, scoring unassisted.
The match also featured several yellow cards. Panetolikos received one yellow card to C. Sielis (minute 17), while Panathinaikos accumulated three, to F. Mladenovic (minute 20), M. Siopis (minute 52), and K. Swiderski (minute 56).
Despite the defeat, Panetolikos put up a respectable fight, holding 47% possession and registering 7 shots, only one of which was on target.
