Philadelphia, June 28, 2025 – In a tense and emotional encounter, Palmeiras managed to overcome Botafogo at Lincoln Financial Field, in a match corresponding to the round of 16 of the FIFA Club World Cup. The match, played under the watchful eye of French referee François Letexier, was decided in extra time with a goal by Paulinho in the 100th minute, assisted by R. Rios.
