Paks and Puskas Academy played out a thrilling 2-2 draw at the Paksi FC Stadion in the 28th round of the Hungarian NB I. The match, played on April 19th, 2025, was a highly contested affair with several yellow cards. D. Bode put Paks ahead from the penalty spot in the 21st minute, but Z. Nagy equalized for Puskas Academy in the 32nd minute. Puskas Academy had a goal disallowed by VAR just before half-time. In the second half, B. Toth gave Paks the lead in the 73rd minute, only for J. Fameyeh to score a late equalizer for Puskas Academy. Despite a missed penalty by Z. Nagy for Puskas Academy, both teams showed considerable attacking prowess, each registering 13 shots. Puskas Academy enjoyed slightly more possession (54%), while Paks committed more fouls (9 to 28). The match ended with three yellow cards for Paks and two for Puskas Academy.
