Levante Silences Tartiere with a Convincing Victory over Oviedo
Oviedo, Spain – Levante UD secured an important victory at the Estadio Nuevo Carlos Tartiere, defeating Real Oviedo in a match corresponding to the eighth matchday of La Liga. Despite Oviedo’s favorable ball possession of 57%, Levante demonstrated greater effectiveness in front of the opponent’s goal.
The match began with territorial dominance from Oviedo, but it was Levante who struck first. In the 30th minute, Carlos Álvarez capitalized on an assist from M. Sánchez to open the scoring with a goal. The first half concluded with a yellow card for S. Rondon of Oviedo.
