Bitter-Sweet Draw at El Sadar: Osasuna and Elche Tie 1-1
Pamplona, September 25, 2025 – Estadio El Sadar witnessed a hard-fought match between Osasuna and Elche that ended in a 1-1 draw. An early goal by V. Muñoz in the 10th minute, following an assist from A. Catena, put the home side ahead. However, Elche, with a greater possession of the ball (61%), did not give up and sought the equalizer until the very end.
The match was characterized by intense play, reflected in the yellow cards shown to J. Moncayola, F. Boyomo and A. Pedrosa for Osasuna, and V. Chust for Elche. The expulsion of E. Sarabia in the 70th minute further complicated matters for Elche, who played with ten men.
