Osasuna Stuns Atletico Madrid with 2-0 Victory at El Sadar
Iruñea, May 15, 2025.- Osasuna secured a thrilling 2-0 victory over Atletico Madrid at the Estadio El Sadar in a La Liga matchday 36 clash. Despite Atletico’s superior possession (65%), Osasuna proved more clinical in attack.
A. Catena opened the scoring for Osasuna in the 25th minute, assisted by B. Zaragoza. Atletico responded with a yellow card for R. de Paul in the same minute, highlighting the tension of the match. P. Ibáñez of Osasuna also received a yellow card in the 40th minute.
