Millonarios defeats Once Caldas in a thrilling match in Manizales
Manizales, May 12, 2025.- Millonarios defeated Once Caldas 3-2 in a vibrant match played at the Estadio Palogrande. The game, corresponding to matchday 18 of the Colombian Primera A, was marked by intensity and a high number of yellow cards.
Once Caldas surprised with an early goal from Jhonny Malagon in the 9th minute, assisted by Mateo Zuleta. However, Millonarios responded quickly with a goal from Leonardo Palacios in the 17th minute. Once Caldas regained the lead with a goal from Juan Cardona in the 29th minute, assisted by Malagon. But Millonarios demonstrated its superiority in ball possession (66%) and scored two more goals, one from Andrés Llinás in the 63rd minute and another later in the match, sealing their victory.
