Once Caldas and Junior played an exciting match at the Estadio Palogrande in Manizales, corresponding to the third matchday of the 2024 Clausura quadrangular of the Colombian Primera A. The match, refereed by Jose Alexander Ortiz Novoa, ended with a 2-3 victory for Junior.
Once Caldas took the lead early with a goal from J. A. Zapata Ramirez in the 2nd minute, assisted by J. Patino. Junior equalized in the 24th minute thanks to a goal from E. Herrera, assisted by J. Enamorado. Before halftime, Once Caldas regained the lead with a goal from D. Moreno in the 42nd minute, assisted by J. A. Zapata Ramirez. In the second half, Junior came back to win the match with two goals from D. Moreno, one in the 90th minute without an assist and another in the same minute. Despite having less possession (37% compared to Junior’s 63%), Once Caldas had more shots (13 vs 9). Both teams received one yellow card, but no red cards.
