Olympiakos Piraeus edged out PAOK 2-1 in a thrilling match at the Stadio Georgios Karaiskáki in Piraeus. The game, part of the 24th round of the Greek Super League 1, saw a back-and-forth contest with chances for both sides. Rodinei put Olympiakos ahead in the 6th minute, but M. Camara equalized for PAOK at the 24th minute. Tension mounted with yellow cards to D. Carmo (Olympiakos, 23′), G. Konstantelias (PAOK, 33′), and J. Sastre (PAOK, 45′). C. Kostoulas scored the winning goal for Olympiakos in the 31st minute. Despite PAOK’s pressure in the second half, Olympiakos held on, although G. Martins received a yellow card in the 69th minute.
