O’Higgins Overcomes Ñublense in Thrilling Match
Rancagua, Chile – In a match held at the Estadio El Teniente, O’Higgins secured an important victory over Ñublense with a final score of 4 to 2, in a match corresponding to matchday 27 of the Chilean First Division.
The match began with O’Higgins dominating possession, controlling the ball 63% of the time. As a result of this dominance, M. Romero opened the scoring for O’Higgins in the 12th minute, following an assist from Martin Sarrafiore. However, the situation worsened for Ñublense with the expulsion of G. Graciani in the 27th minute. Despite playing with ten men, F. Mateos equalized for Ñublense in the 37th minute from a penalty.
In the second half, the match remained intense. M. Plaza put Ñublense ahead in the 64th minute with a goal after an assist from D. Sanhueza, reversing the score. However, O’Higgins reacted strongly.
