Novorizontino and Operario-PR draw in a low-scoring affair
Novo Horizonte, São Paulo – The match between Novorizontino and Operario-PR in the Brazilian Serie B ended in a goalless draw in a game with few scoring opportunities and marked by substitutions.
The first half was a little more lively, with Novorizontino having more possession of the ball and generating more chances. However, Operario-PR’s defense remained solid and did not allow the opponent to score.
The second half was quieter, with both teams making several substitutions looking to change the course of the game. Operario-PR had better possession of the ball in the final minutes, but their lack of attacking force prevented them from securing victory.
The only goal of the game came in the 86th minute when Nathan Fogaca, who had come on as a substitute, managed to score for Operario-PR after a good pass.
