Novorizontino Clinches Late Victory at Home Against Depleted Athletic Club
Novo Horizonte, São Paulo – In a hard-fought match at the Estádio Dr. Jorge Ismael de Biasi, Novorizontino secured a dramatic victory against Athletic Club with a last-gasp goal from O. Ruiz in the 90th minute. The match, part of Round 27 of the Brazilian Serie B, was marked by intensity and a high number of cards.
Novorizontino dominated possession with 57%, generating a total of 19 shots, although only 4 of them were on target. Athletic Club, on the other hand, was outmatched in attack, registering just 2 shots, none of which were on target.
