Norway crushes Kazakhstan in a dominant display
Oslo, November 17, 2024. – Norway achieved a resounding 5-0 victory over Kazakhstan in a UEFA Nations League Group B matchday six clash at Oslo’s Ullevaal Stadion, officiated by Belgian referee Jasper Vergoote. Norway’s dominance was evident throughout, reflected in their 68% possession.
Erling Haaland delivered a masterclass, scoring a hat-trick (23rd, 37th, and 71st minutes). Alexander Sørloth added another goal in the 41st minute, and A. Nusa capped off the scoring with a goal in the 76th minute. Nusa also provided two assists for Haaland.
Kazakhstan, with only 32% possession, barely threatened the Norwegian goal, failing to register a single shot on target. They received two yellow cards (Aymbetov and Zhaksylykov) and committed 11 fouls. Norway, in contrast, committed only 2 fouls and received no yellow cards.
