North Korea Secures Victory in Tight Match Against Kyrgyzstan

Riyadh, Saudi Arabia – In a match corresponding to the Asian qualification for the 2026 World Cup, North Korea defeated Kyrgyzstan at the Prince Faisal bin Fahd Stadium. The match, refereed by Jordanian Adham Mohammad, was marked by intensity and goals.

The match continued with a high tempo and some yellow cards for North Korea, including Ri Il-song (79′) and again Ri Jo-Guk (81′). In the final minutes, an own goal by Kim Sung-Hye in the 90th minute gave Kyrgyzstan their second goal, although it was not enough to tie the game.
