Nong Bua Pitchaya Edges Out Rayong FC in Thrilling Thai League 1 Match
Nong Bua Pitchaya secured a 1-0 victory over Rayong FC at the Pitchaya Stadium in Nong Bua Lam Phu in a matchday 24 clash of the 2024 Thai League 1 season. Despite possessing less ball possession (39%), the home side proved more clinical in front of goal.
Conrado’s 21st-minute goal, assisted by Judivan, proved to be the difference. An earlier goal by Nong Bua Pitchaya was disallowed for offside in the 11th minute. Rayong FC, with 61% possession, created fewer clear-cut chances. While H. Jeon scored a late goal in the 90th minute, it came too late to salvage anything for the visitors.
