NK Slaven Belupo defeated HNK Gorica 3-1 in a thrilling Croatian Cup quarter-final match played at the Gradski Stadion in Koprivnica. The match, refereed by Dario Bel of Croatia, saw Slaven Belupo dominate possession (66%), but HNK Gorica took the lead with a penalty converted by V. Majstorovic in the 61st minute. However, Slaven Belupo fought back strongly in the second half, scoring three goals. A. Jagusic scored twice (84th and 109th minutes), while I. Dolcek added another in the 118th minute.
