Newport County Secures Home Victory Against Crewe
Newport, England – Newport County celebrated a victory at Rodney Parade against Crewe in a League Two match that ended with a score of 2-0. The home team, despite having less ball possession (41%), was more effective in front of the goal.
The first goal came in the 28th minute, scored by C. Baker-Richardson, who opened the scoring without an assist. Despite a yellow card for A. Driscoll-Glennon in the 40th minute, Newport maintained their composure. Crewe, although dominating possession with 59%, struggled to convert their attacks.
