Newcastle Overpowers Benfica in Champions League Clash
Newcastle, October 21, 2025 – Newcastle convincingly defeated Benfica at St. James’ Park in a match corresponding to the third matchday of the UEFA Champions League group stage. In front of their home crowd, the English team demonstrated their superiority with a solid performance that resulted in a favorable score.
Despite Newcastle holding a slight possession advantage (52%), the game was contested in midfield. The first half saw Newcastle take the lead thanks to a goal by A.
