New York City FC Edges Out Philadelphia Union in Tight Match
Flushing, New York – New York City FC defeated the Philadelphia Union 1-0 in a hard-fought match at Citi Field on April 12th, 2025, in a pivotal game for the MLS regular season, gameweek 12. Despite the Union’s slight edge in shots (16 to 11), and a similar number of corners (6 each), it was Thiago Martins’ 55th-minute goal, assisted by Maxi Moralez, that proved decisive.
