The New England Revolution defeated the New York Red Bulls 2-1 in a thrilling match played at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts on March 29th, 2025. The game, part of the Major League Soccer regular season, game 9, was marked by tension and yellow cards.
Carles Gil put the Revolution ahead in the 28th minute with a goal. The Red Bulls equalized before halftime with a goal from Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting in the 45th minute. The second half was a hard-fought battle, with three yellow cards for the Revolution (Feingold, Langoni, and Sands) and two for the Red Bulls (Nealis and Eile). In the closing minutes, Gil scored again, this time from a penalty in the 90th minute, to secure the victory for his team.
