National Bank of Egypt Edges Out Al Ittihad in Thrilling Match
Cairo, Egypt – National Bank of Egypt secured a 3-2 victory over Al Ittihad in a captivating match of the Egyptian Premier League’s 15th round, played at the Arab Contractors Stadium. The game, held on February 21st, 2025, was characterized by the winning team’s early efficiency and a thrilling comeback attempt by Al Ittihad.
National Bank of Egypt started strongly, scoring two early goals. Omar Faisal opened the scoring in the 3rd minute, followed by a goal from Mohamed Ibrahim in the 5th minute, both assisted by Youssef Annor. Al Ittihad responded with a goal from Ahmed Gomaa in the 33rd minute, assisted by Karim El Deeb. In the second half, Al Ittihad pulled one back with a goal from Ahmed Mohamed in the 51st minute, assisted by Mohamed Sherif. However, Youssef Annor sealed the victory for National Bank of Egypt with a goal in the 59th minute, assisted by Ahmed Madbouli.
