Thrilling Draw in Kruševac between Napredak and Novi Pazar
Kruševac, Serbia – A vibrant match at the Stadion Mladost ended in a draw that left fans on the edge of their seats. The match, corresponding to the second round of the Serbian Super Liga, saw Napredak and Novi Pazar equal forces in a duel full of action and alternatives.
Napredak took the lead thanks to a goal by N. Djekovic in the 26th minute, assisted by M. Toseski. However, Novi Pazar responded with M. Petkovic equalizing the actions in the 50th minute. The local joy was short-lived, as Djekovic scored again in the 53rd minute after a new assist from Toseski, returning the advantage to his team. But the perseverance of Novi Pazar had its reward, when S. Iyede got the definitive 2-2 in the 58th minute.
The match was intense and disputed, reflected in the statistics. Novi Pazar dominated possession with 57%, launching 22 shots, although only 5 were on target. For its part, Napredak had 43% possession and made 16 shots, with only 2 between the three posts. Both teams generated numerous corners, 9 for Novi Pazar and 8 for Napredak. Discipline was also a factor, with referee Marko Ivković showing several yellow cards, one for Novi Pazar and three for Napredak. Overall, a fair draw for an exciting match.
