Napoli and Udinese Draw in Thrilling Match at the Maradona
The Stadio Diego Armando Maradona in Naples hosted a vibrant encounter between Napoli and Udinese, corresponding to matchday 24 of the 2024 Serie A. The match, played on February 9th, 2025, ended in a 1-1 draw, leaving a bittersweet taste for both teams.
Scott McTominay put Napoli ahead in the 37th minute, assisted by Matteo Politano. However, Napoli’s joy was short-lived. Jeroen Ekkelenkamp leveled the score for Udinese ten minutes later, thanks to a pass from Jesper Karlsson. Udinese proved competitive, despite having less possession (38% compared to Napoli’s 62%).
