Nail-Biting Draw in Funchal: Braga Secures Late Point Against Nacional
Funchal witnessed a hard-fought and thrilling match between Nacional and SC Braga, ending in a draw that left both teams with mixed feelings. The game, corresponding to matchday 24 of the Primeira Liga, was played at the Estádio da Madeira under the watchful eye of referee Diogo Rosa.
Braga took an early lead in the 11th minute when R. Zalazar connected with an excellent shot, assisted by P. Victor. However, Braga’s joy was short-lived as a goal by G. The match was characterized by the intensity and effort of both teams, reflected in the 14 fouls committed by each. The draw leaves Braga with a bittersweet taste, while Nacional can celebrate a valuable point at home.
