Thrilling Draw in Funchal Between Nacional and Moreirense
Funchal, Portugal – In a vibrant and eventful match, Nacional and Moreirense drew at the Estádio da Madeira in a game corresponding to the eighth round of the Primeira Liga. The match, played under the watchful eye of referee Hélder Malheiro, was marked by intensity and controversy.
Moreirense took an early lead with a goal from V. Sousa in the 5th minute, assisted by D. Pinto. However, the joy would be short-lived, as J. Ramirez equalized for Nacional in the 21st minute via a penalty. The first half was marked by a hard-fought game, with two yellow cards for Moreirense.
