Moreirense falls to Estoril in a thrilling match
Moreira de Cónegos, May 11, 2025 – Moreirense suffered a 2-3 defeat against Estoril Praia in a match played at the Parque Desportivo Comendador Joaquim de Almeida Freitas, corresponding to matchday 33 of the Primeira Liga. The match was marked by initial equality and a thrilling second half.
Bernardo opened the scoring for the home side in the 21st minute, but Estoril came back in the second half. Marcelo extended Moreirense’s lead in the 55th minute, but goals from F. Bacher (76′) and A. Marques (80′) gave Estoril the victory. The match was intense, with a total of 36 fouls and 8 yellow cards distributed between both teams. Estoril dominated possession (62%), while Moreirense had more shots on target (5 to 5).
