Montserrat Stuns Belize in Tense Match in Couva
Couva, San Fernando – In a hard-fought and highly charged match, Montserrat secured an important victory over Belize at the Ato Boldon Stadium, in the second round of CONCACAF World Cup 2026 qualifying.
The match started at a frantic pace, with Montserrat taking an early lead in the 2nd minute thanks to a goal by M. Rogers. Despite Belize’s dominance in possession (70% compared to Montserrat’s 30%), the visiting team failed to convert their superiority on the pitch.
