Montpellier Secures Home Victory Against Guingamp in Thrilling Encounter
Montpellier, France – In a hard-fought match at the Stade de la Mosson, Montpellier triumphed over Guingamp in a game that kept fans on the edge of their seats. Despite having less ball possession (40%), Montpellier made the most of their opportunities, with 12 total shots, 7 of which were on target.
The match started intensely, evidenced by a yellow card for N. Mbuku of Montpellier in the 7th minute. Guingamp took the lead in the 18th minute with a goal by L. Mafouta, assisted by G. Ott. However, Montpellier didn’t give up, and E. Junior Pereira da Silva equalized in the 42nd minute, thanks to an assist from N. Mbuku.
