Monterrey Secures Home Victory Against León
Monterrey defeated León in a match played at the Estadio BBVA in Monterrey, corresponding to week 6 of the Liga MX Clausura tournament. The only goal of the match came in the 24th minute, scored by Sergio Canales, who capitalized on an assist from Luciano Orellano to put Monterrey ahead.
The match was characterized by physical play, reflected in the numerous fouls committed by both teams (17 by Monterrey and 13 by León) and the yellow cards shown to Gerardo Arteaga, Omar Torres, and Jesús Corona for Monterrey, and Iván Moreno for León.
