Monterrey Crushes Atlético de San Luis in Thrilling Match
Guadalupe, Mexico – Monterrey dominated Atlético de San Luis with a resounding 5-1 victory in the Liga MX Apertura 2024 semifinals, played at the Estadio BBVA. Despite Monterrey’s superior possession (59% to 41%), the match was a back-and-forth affair.
Monterrey took the lead in the 47th minute with a goal from Orbelín Torres and extended their advantage in the 53rd minute thanks to Germán Berterame.
