Molde Defeats Tromsø in a Hard-Fought Match with Two Penalties
Molde, August 24, 2025 – The Aker Stadion witnessed a victory for Molde over Tromsø in a match marked by intensity and controversial refereeing decisions. Despite Tromsø having slightly more possession with 57% compared to Molde’s 43%, the home team capitalized on their opportunities to secure the three points.
The first goal of the match came in the 27th minute when F. Gulbrandsen converted a penalty for Molde. Tromsø tried to react, showing more aggression in attack, as evidenced by their 11 shots compared to Molde’s 6, although only 2 of them were on target. However, Molde’s defense remained firm, frustrating attempts to equalize.
The match was characterized by physical play, with a total of 30 fouls committed between both teams. Referee Rohit Saggi showed two yellow cards to Tromsø players (R.
