Late Drama: Mirandes and Las Palmas Draw in Anduva
Miranda de Ebro – In a hard-fought match at the Estadio Municipal de Anduva, Mirandes and Las Palmas drew, delivering excitement until the very last minute. Despite Las Palmas dominating possession with 69%, Mirandes capitalized on their opportunities.
The first half saw tensions rise with yellow cards for Pejino (Las Palmas) and J. Cabello (Mirandes). The second half saw Mirandes take the lead thanks to a goal by R. Bauza in the 57th minute, assisted by A. Mari. Las Palmas, with a greater attacking intent (15 shots compared to Mirandes’ 5), fought hard to find the equalizer.
Las Palmas’ persistence finally paid off in the 90th minute, when Jese scored a goal assisted by E. Pedrola, sealing the final draw.
