Thrilling Draw Between Millonarios and Once Caldas at El Campín
Bogotá, D.C. – In a vibrant match played at the Estadio Nemesio Camacho El Campín, Millonarios and Once Caldas drew in a game full of emotions and twists. The encounter, valid for the quadrangular round of the Colombian Primera A Apertura, left fans on the edge of their seats.
Once Caldas started the match strongly, opening the scoring in the 8th minute thanks to a goal by M. Barrios, assisted by D. Moreno. The lead was extended in the 27th minute with a goal by A. Garcia Castillo, assisted by M. Zuleta, leaving Millonarios against the ropes. However, the home team did not give up.
After the break, Millonarios came out with a renewed attitude and quickly pulled one back. R. Falcao, who entered in the second half, scored in the 48th minute thanks to an assist from J. Valencia. Millonarios’ pressure was constant and in the 61st minute, J. Valencia, assisted by N. Giraldo, equalized.
Despite the dominance in possession (54% for Millonarios against 46% for Once Caldas) and a greater number of shots (20 for Millonarios, 9 for Once Caldas), the score did not change any further.
