Metz Snatch Victory from Nice in Thrilling Match
Metz, France – In a closely contested match held at the Stade Saint-Symphorien, Metz managed to come from behind and defeat Nice with a final score of two to one. The match, refereed by Stephanie Frappart, was marked by intensity and numerous fouls committed by both teams.
Nice took the lead in the 35th minute thanks to a goal by M. Cho, assisted by C. Vanhoutte. However, Metz did not give up and equalized in the 53rd minute with a penalty converted by G. Hein. Ball possession remained even throughout the match, with 50% for each team.
The decisive moment came in the 84th minute, when H. Diallo scored the winning goal for Metz, assisted by J. Gbamin. The match was also characterized by the number of yellow cards shown, four for Nice and two for Metz. In terms of shots, Nice slightly surpassed Metz, ten to nine, although Metz was more effective in front of goal.
