Cruz Azul Edges Out Mazatlán in Hard-Fought Match
Mazatlán, Mexico – In a thrilling encounter at Estadio El Encanto, Cruz Azul secured a 1-2 victory over Mazatlán in the Liga MX’s Clausura 2024, matchday 10. The match, officiated by Luis Alfredo Garcia Rodriguez, was characterized by intensity and yellow cards, with a total of five for Mazatlán and four for Cruz Azul.
Despite having less possession (42% vs 58%), Mazatlán managed five shots, one on target, and earned four corners. However, Cruz Azul proved more clinical.
