ESTAC Troyes secured a convincing 2-1 victory over Martigues at the Stade Francis Turcan in Martigues. The Ligue 2 match, part of round 22 of the regular season, saw Troyes dominate possession (56%) and create more scoring opportunities (15 shots, 8 on target).
Troyes took an early lead through N. de Preville in the 12th minute. R. Said doubled the advantage in the 27th minute, assisted by De Preville. Martigues, playing with a man down from the 43rd minute after K. Tlili’s red card, fought back. A. Amraoui missed a penalty in the 73rd minute, but A. Ipiele scored a late consolation goal.
