Olympique de Marseille thrashed Saint-Étienne 5-1 in a match completely dominated by the home side at the Orange Vélodrome. The game, corresponding to matchday 22 of Ligue 1, was played on February 15th, 2025, under the watchful eye of referee Abdelatif Kherradji. Marseille showed overwhelming superiority, controlling 70% of possession and firing 26 shots towards goal (14 on target). A. Gouiri opened the scoring in the 27th minute, assisted by P. Hojbjerg. A penalty converted by M. Greenwood in the 50th minute extended the lead. M. Murillo (58th minute) and A. Gouiri (60th minute), again assisted by Hojbjerg, scored to make it 4-0. A. Rabiot sealed the rout in the 77th minute, assisted by A. Dedic. Saint-Étienne, with only 30% possession and 7 shots, managed to pull one back in the 79th minute thanks to L.
