Vizela thrashes Mafra in a thrilling match in Mafra
Vizela achieved a resounding 5-1 victory over Mafra in a match played at the Estádio Municipal de Mafra, corresponding to matchday 23 of the Portuguese Segunda Liga. The match, refereed by Flavio Lima, was a goal-fest for the visitors.
Vizela started strongly, scoring two quick goals thanks to the Semedo-Ntolla partnership. Semedo opened the scoring in the 4th minute, assisted by Lebedenko, and repeated in the 12th minute, this time with an assist from Ntolla. Ntolla also joined the goal celebrations before halftime, scoring the 3-0 in the 45th minute, assisted by Semedo.
Mafra managed to pull one back in the second half with a goal from Guilherme in the 58th minute, but the home side’s reaction was insufficient. Milovanovic sealed the match with a penalty goal in the 89th minute, after Vizela had already added a fourth goal. The match ended with a clear 5-1 victory for Vizela, despite both teams receiving two yellow cards each.
