Sanfrecce Hiroshima defeated Machida Zelvia 3-1 in a match played at the Machida Gion Stadium in Tokyo, corresponding to the first round of the 2025 J1 League. Machida Zelvia received three yellow cards, while Sanfrecce Hiroshima received one.
