FC Midtjylland Dominates Maccabi Tel Aviv at TSC Arena
Bačka Topola, October 23, 2025 – FC Midtjylland defeated Maccabi Tel Aviv in a UEFA Europa League match held at the TSC Arena. Despite a slightly favorable possession for the Danish team (56% versus 44% for Maccabi), the match was marked by moments of tension and a contested midfield.
The first half offered few clear chances, although FC Midtjylland managed to open the scoring just before halftime. Franculino, assisted by V. Bak, scored the first goal in the 44th minute, giving his team a crucial lead. Previously, D. Castillo had received a yellow card for the Danish team in the 41st minute.
In the second half, FC Midtjylland maintained their pressure and managed to extend their lead. P. Billing, assisted by M. Erlic, scored the second goal in the 71st minute. Shortly after, Franculino reappeared on the scoreboard in the 84th minute, this time assisted by A. Simsir, sealing the victory for the Danish team. Maccabi Tel Aviv, although trying to react, failed to convert their goal opportunities. The match was also punctuated by yellow cards for P. Billing (68′), M. Gogorza (75′), and Lee Han-Beom (90′) from FC Midtjylland.
