Newcastle Jets Draw with Macarthur FC in Thrilling Sydney Match
The Newcastle Jets and Macarthur FC played out a thrilling 3-3 draw at Campbelltown Sports Stadium in Sydney. The A-League match, part of round 24 of the regular season, saw both teams trade blows throughout the encounter.
The Jets started brightly, scoring two early goals through Lachlan Rose (2nd minute) and Enoch Adams (7th minute). Macarthur fought back in the second half, with Harry Sawyer’s goal in the 65th minute sparking their comeback. Sawyer added a second goal in the 90th minute, completing his brace. Tristian Uskok also scored for Macarthur in the 82nd minute. Adams scored his second for the Jets in the 71st minute.
