Aalborg beats Lyngby in a thrilling encounter
Lyngby started the game strongly, scoring the first goal in the 8th minute through S. Magnusson. However, Aalborg responded with a great second half, scoring two quick goals in the 52nd and 55th minutes through J. Iredale and M. Widell respectively.
The game became intense with many yellow cards being handed out. M. Widell of Aalborg received a red card in the 88th minute, leaving his team with one man less. Despite this, Aalborg withstood the pressure from Lyngby and managed to secure three points after a penalty from F. Gytkjaer in the 89th minute.
Aalborg finished the game with more shots and corners than Lyngby, although possession was more balanced.
