Real Betis Secures Hard-Fought Victory Against Ludogorets
Razgrad, October 2, 2025 – Real Betis secured a valuable away victory against Ludogorets in the second matchday of the UEFA Europa League group stage. The match, played at the Huvepharma Arena, was a closely contested encounter, with both teams battling for control of the ball.
Ludogorets dominated possession with 54%, but failed to translate it into clear scoring opportunities, registering only one shot on target out of their 13 attempts. Real Betis, on the other hand, were more effective, and despite having less possession (46%), managed to capitalize on their chances.
The scoring was opened in the 31st minute with a goal from Giovani Lo Celso for Real Betis, assisted by Natan, after a great team move. In the second half, an own goal by Son in the 53rd minute extended the lead for the visitors. The match was marked by intensity and a midfield battle, reflected in the numerous fouls committed by both teams (15 by Betis and 9 by Ludogorets).
